Thorne Male Voice Choir are set to host a full day choral workshop at Thorne’s Trinity Academy this weekend.
The event is open to other male voice choirs, or individual male singers, with all invited to attend what they say will be “a very stimulating and enjoyable full day event”.
The workshop will be led by accomplished vocal leader and musical director, James Sills. James, who hails from the Wirral in Merseyside, is said to have an unconventional approach to his workshops which will ensure that all participants are kept fully engaged and obtain maximum enjoyment from the day.
The event starts at 9.30am and goes through to 4.30pm on Saturday 11 March.
A spokesperson for the Thorne choir said: “A similar workshop held last year left everyone who attended full of enthusiasm for the event and for the future of their choir, and stimulated Thorne & District Male Voice Choir to continue with the considerable improvements made over the last two years”.
Full details, including contact information, are on the choir’s website: www.thorneanddistrictmalevoicechoir.com
