Thorne Moorends Town Council is meeting tonight with eighteen items on the agenda.
Councillors will discuss a range of items including finances, budgets and proposals for the next financial year.
Members will be asked for their observations on current planning applications and to note a report from the town council’s external auditor.
Other matters include the outcome of the council’s High Street Heritage Action Zone bid and a progress report on the installation of floodlights at the Welfare Ground in Moorends.
Tonight’s meeting (Tuesday 8 October), takes place at the Coulman Pavilion on Coulman Street in Thorne starting at 7.00pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and have the opportunity to make representations to the council in relation to items on the agenda.
Four items are listed for discussion in private session.
