Thorne Moorends Town Council is meeting tomorrow evening with the area’s new police inspector expected to attend.
Insp. Alison Carr, the inspector in charge of the Doncaster East Neighbourhood policing team, is expected to formally meet town councillors and take part in a question and answer session.
Other areas of business on the fourteen item agenda includes councillors agreeing tender documentation in relation to the town’s Christmas lights contract as the current one has come to an end. Members will receive a monthly finance report from the town clerk and a general update on council matters. Councillors will also be asked for their observations on current planning applications.
Three items are listed for discussion in private session.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday 11 February at the Coulman Pavilion on Coulman Street in Thorne, starting at 7.00pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and have the opportunity to make representations to the council in relation to items on the agenda.
