Thorne Moorends Town Council is meeting tonight with twelve items on the agenda.
Town councillors will discuss a range of items including a business request to use Thorne Community Wood as an outdoor woodland classroom and members will also be asked to approve plans for the refurbishment of the Delves Cafe.
Other business up for discussion by councillors includes finances and a revised budget and members will also be asked for their observations on current planning applications.
Tonight’s meeting (Tuesday 12 November), takes place at the Winning Post on Marshland Road in Moorends starting at 7.00pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and have the opportunity to make representations to the council in relation to items on the agenda.
