A man was arrested following a cannabis find in Thorne yesterday.
Officers from South Yorkshire Police attended an address on King Street in the town yesterday morning (Friday 9 February) following reports of a disturbance at the property.
Police say a quantity of drugs were found and a 28-year-old-man was arrested.
The man has since been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “At around 9.30am on Friday 9 February, officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a property on King Street in Thorne.
“On arrival, officers discovered a quantity of drugs and a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
“The man, from the Thorne area, was released under investigation while enquiries continue”.
