Thorne Moorends Town Council meets tonight with the Market Place development among the items on the agenda.
A proposal by the developer of the building under construction in Thorne Market Place to vary the current planning permission and divide the property into four retail units will be considered by the town council. Any observations agreed by members will then go through to planning officers at Doncaster Council.
Also on the seventeen item agenda is a presentation by Cllr Amie Knott concerning the environment, an update on the neighbourhood plan and an update on the progress of the plans surrounding the UCI world cycling event. Items regarding annual accounts and governance are also included.
Chief Inspector Gwynfor Thomas from South Yorkshire Police will be attending to give a presentation about Neighbourhood Networks, which aim to forge stronger links between local communities and police.
