Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police recovered a mobility scooter after it was stolen from a garage in Moorends. Following an appeal, officers announced it had been reunited with it’s owner and said: “It was stolen from a garage in Moorends in the early hours of the morning. Enquiries on going to trace an offender.” Anyone with information should call police on 101.
Thursday 25 April
A black Ford Focus stolen during a ‘two-in-one’ burglary in the Dunscroft area has been recovered, say police. On the morning of Thursday 25 April officers reported that the vehicle as being taken during the previous night. The vehicle was then reported as recovered by local PCSOs later that morning.
Saturday 20 April
Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police have reported the theft of a black Volkswagen Eos from the Dunscroft area. The vehicle, registration mark KR57 NMU, was reportedly taken some time between 7pm on Friday 19 April and 10.00am on Saturday 20 April. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or police on non emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 14/64202/19.
Thursday 11 April
A Carrera Vengeance mountain bike was handed to police by a member of the public after being found abandoned in Moorends. Officers asked that the owner or anyone who might know the owner to contact PC1882 Sykes via the 101 phone number.

Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police have arrested a teenager following “several reports from members of the public in Moorends of a male riding erratically on a motorbike”. East Neighbourhood officers say they have arrested a 14-year-old male on “suspicion of theft of the motorbike, driving offences and several offences of burglary”. They added: “He remains in police custody still being investigated.”
