Police have executed a warrant at an address on Wilkinson Avenue in Moorends today (Thurs 14 Mar). Officers tweeted a photo showing what appears to be cannabis growing, saying: “all rooms are full, electric has been bypassed. Possible street value of over £100,000″.

Friday 8 March
A shop on King Street in Thorne had its window smashed through during the night (Fri 8 Mar). The incident, at Phonecare inside Gazette House in the town centre, is thought to have happened at around 1.55am. The matter has been reported to police.
Thursday 7 March
Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police say there have been several reports of number plates being stolen across Stainforth. Officers asked anyone with information to contact them via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Wednesday 6 March
Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police reported the theft of a motor vehicle from Dunsville the previous day (Tues 5 March). Officers said the vehicle was a white Ford and gave the registration number as YS14 XOK. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Sunday 3 March
Doncaster East Neighbourhood Police reported that a scooter had been seized in Stainforth the previous day (Sat 2 March). Officers said it was suspected stolen, believing it to have been used in “several nuisance incidents in the local area.”
