Police investigating a burglary at a fishing tackle shop in Barnby Dun have released photographs from a mobile phone found at the scene.
Jonah’s Fishing Tackle on Top Road, Barnby Dun, was broken into overnight between Friday 1 September and Saturday 2 September with a quantity of tackle being stolen during the incident.
A mobile phone was recovered at the scene which contained pictures of individuals police would like to identify.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “As part of initial enquiries at the scene of the burglary, officers recovered an old Sony Ericsson mobile phone that contained photos of individuals officers would like to identify and speak to, as they may hold vital information”.
Anyone who recognises the men or has any other information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 253 of 2 September 2017.
