Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Stainforth.
A 36-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after the car he was driving crashed into a wall in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 10 October.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Just after midnight, a silver Ford Puma was travelling along Thorne Road, towards Stainforth, when for reasons unknown, it has collided with a wall outside of Holme Farm.
“Emergency services attended but the driver of the car, a 36-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.”
Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who saw the car prior to the collision occurring.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 4 of Wednesday 10 October 2018.
