Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash on the A614 Bawtry Road near Lindholme last week in which a driver sustained serious injuries.
A white BMW and black Vauxhall Zafira were in a collision with each other just past Lindholme, towards Blaxton, and officers are asking for anyone who saw the crash or was in the area at the time to contact them.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “At around 7.30am on Thursday 28 September, it was reported a white BMW 320 and black Vauxhall Zafira had collided with each other on the A614 Bawtry Road, near to the Hatfield junction with Moor Dike Road.
“The driver of the Zafira, a 48-year-old, suffered serious injuries in the collision and was taken to hospital to receive treatment.
“An investigation has been launched into the incident and officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or the manner of driving prior to the collision, to report it”.
Anyone with information is asked to report it via 101 quoting incident number 139 of 28 September.
