The Met Office has issued a weather warning for tomorrow (Sun 6 Oct) that affects the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The national weather office is forecasting heavy rain and has issued an updated yellow warning saying that some transport disruption and flooding may occur in places.
The Met Office says: “Within the warning area many parts will see 15-30 mm of rain during Sunday with the potential for as much as 40-50 mm in places, much of this falling in a six hour period”. It adds: “There is some uncertainty regarding the location of where the heaviest rain will occur.”
The warning period for the region starts at midnight tonight (Sat 5 Oct) and continues to 6.00pm tomorrow.
