Right Up Our Street wants to hear from Thorne and Moorends residents who may be interested in taking part in an art project.
Local artist James Lockey is looking for people to collaborate with him on a short film series.
The six short films will be inspired by phone conversations with members of the community in Thorne and Moorends.
Sally Lockey, Project Director at Right Up Our Street, said: “The films will be influenced by the participants and their lives and experiences. They will be shaped entirely by the stories shared by participants.”
“We’re hoping the films have an optimistic feel and look towards the future. We’re looking to hear from an older member of the Thorne and Moorends community who may be living alone but is happy to chat about how they’re feeling and their hopes for the future.”
Thoughts Formed is an extension of a previous Right Up Our Street research and development project, Thoughts Formed Part I & Part II – which consisted of two short films of mixed media animation including 3D software.

Right Up Our Street is hoping to exhibit the six short films in a venue with covid-safe measures later in the year.
