Friday sees an evening of rugby to say ‘thank you’ to NHS staff for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
Thornensians Vets are set to take on the Yorkshire Ambulance Service in a fundraising game to say thanks to healthcare staff for their work throughout the pandemic.
Thorne’s veterans say the event is a ‘celebration of ambulance services and NHS staff who have given so much during these testing times’.
The match kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday 3 December at Thornensians’ Coulman Street ground and is followed by a disco karaoke in the rugby club bar afterwards.
Monies raised at the game will be donated to NHS based charities.
