The latest NHS Covid-19 figures for the Doncaster and Bassetlaw foundation trust region show that 779 people have sadly died in hospitals in the area. These figures do not include deaths in care homes or in the community.
The total number of people who have died in Doncaster within 28 days of a positive test stands at 831, according to Government figures. Nationally, the figure for the UK stands at 127,161.
As at Tuesday 6 April there were 23 Covid-19 patients in Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS foundation trust hospitals receiving treatment. Four patients were on ventilation.
Figures for vaccinations show that up to Tuesday 13 April in England 27,172,302 have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 6,762,337 have received a second dose.
Government has set out a roadmap of when lockdown restrictions might be eased, Starting 8 March (below). Monday 12 April saw stage two come into effect with a move to stage three taking place no earlier than 17 May.
