The latest NHS Covid-19 figures for the Doncaster and Bassetlaw foundation trust region show that 800 people have sadly died in hospitals in the area, with four of those deaths being announced in the current month (July). These figures do not include deaths in care homes or in the community.
The total number of people who have died in Doncaster within 28 days of a positive test now stands at 847. Nationally, the figure for the UK stands at 129,303 according to Government figures.
As at Tuesday 20 July there were thirteen Covid-19 patients in Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS foundation trust hospitals receiving treatment. One patient required ventilation.
