Thorne Moorends town councillors will discuss a fifteen item agenda at October’s meeting.
This month’s meeting of full council takes place in Moorends with councillors set to discuss a number of items including complaints from residents near Moorends community centre and issues around pest control at Thorne Delves.
In other items, councillors will be asked to consider a request from a dance school for free use of council facilities to prepare dancers for an upcoming ‘world cup’ competition. Replacement of the council’s cemetery mini digger will also be considered by members.
Regular business concerning finance and planning matters is on the agenda along with policy and procedure reviews.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 12 October at the Winning Post in Moorends starting at 7.00pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and have the opportunity to make representations to the council in relation to items on the agenda.
