**UPDATED**
A 90-year-old man who sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision in Stainforth has died in hospital.
At around 12.30pm on Saturday 21 February, it is reported that there was a collision on Station Road, Stainforth, just outside the Asda supermarket, between a 90-year-old man and a Vauxhall Astra.
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remained in a critical condition and sadly passed away yesterday (Thursday 26 February).
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision.
