Fire News In Brief – January 2021
Wednesday 27 January
At 7:40pm firefighters from Thorne station attended a deliberate fire involving wood and rubbish on South End, Thorne. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.
Saturday 16 January
Firefighters from Thorne were called to Wike Gate Road, Thorne, at 9.26pm. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service says, upon arrival, they found a car well alight on the side of the road. This was dealt with by 10pm and, according to the fire service, was started deliberately.
Wednesday 13 January
A wheelie bin was accidentally set on fire at 10:50pm on Junction Road, Stainforth. A fire crew from Thorne station attended the incident and came away at 11:15pm.
