Friday 26 November
A fire crew from Thorne station were called out to an accidental fire involving a tumble dryer at 3:55pm on Durham Avenue, Thorne. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the crew came away at 4:25pm.
Thursday 25 November
A motorbike was set on fire at 2:05am on Upper Kenyon Street, Thorne. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left at 2:35am and the fire was logged as ‘deliberate’.
Sunday 14 November
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say Central firefighters were called out to an accidental bin fire at 7:45pm on Station Road, Stainforth. The crew left the scene at 8pm.
Thursday 4 November
Firefighters from Thorne were called to a piece of land near Thorne North Railway Station at 9.33pm. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that upon arrival they found a large amount of mixed waste well alight and said it was a bonfire “that had grown out of control”. It was extinguished by 10.16pm.
Tuesday 2 November
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters from Thorne were called to Alexandra Road, Moorends at 3.59am. Upon arrival they found a wheelie bin, fence panel and the guttering of a garage on fire. This was dealt with by 4.31am and the cause remains unknown.
