Hatfield Town Council is scheduled to meet this month with a range of topics up for discussion.
Among the items on the agenda for discussion is a wash-up of the recent Queen’s jubilee celebration held at Jubilee Park, with councillors also being asked if they want to consider holding another event at the venue in the future.
Members will also receive information from the town clerk regarding the paths at Hatfield Cemetery and, in a separate agenda item, will be asked to consider the installation of rabbit-proof fencing at the edges of the cemetery field.
Councillors will hear updates from the clerk regarding Christmas lighting, the Dunscroft miners memorial and a land tenancy agreement.
Matters requested by councillors for discussion include a 7.5 tonne weight limit along Station Road, the sports pitch at Lindholme and York Road recreation ground.
Regular items such as finance and planning matters are also on the agenda.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday 11 July at the council offices on Cuckoo Lane in Hatfield. It starts at 7.00pm and there is an opportunity for members of the public to speak and address the meeting.
