McDonald’s Thorne has once again joined forces with Thorne Rural Lions for the restaurant’s 2018 Christmas Toy Appeal.
This year’s appeal was launched along with Thorne Rural Lions at the McDonald’s restaurant at Quora Retail Park, Thorne.
Donations of toys collected through the appeal will be handed over to East area Stronger Communities officers to gift to local families in need of a little extra help this Christmas. People can drop off donations of Christmas toys and gifts at the Thorne restaurant right up until Monday 17 December.

Mr O’Reilly said: “Following the success of last year’s appeal we’re hoping to make it bigger and better to benefit local children who’s families may need a little help this Christmas.”
Thorne Rural Lions will bringing Santa and his sleigh to McDonald’s at 5pm on Thursday 13 December.
