Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman found injured in Stainforth last month.
At around 3.05pm on Sunday 24 May, Police were called to a property on Ramskir View, Stainforth, following reports of a disturbance.
South Yorkshire Police say that upon arrival, a woman was found to have suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where she sadly died on Wednesday 27 May.
Police named the woman as 52-year-old Michelle Morris.
A post mortem examination concluded the cause of death was a head injury.
Three people, who were arrested on suspicion of assault at the scene and later released under investigation, were re-arrested on Wednesday 3 June on suspicion of murder.
The two men, aged 47 and 33, and a 24-year-old woman have since been released on bail.
