Hatfield Town Council is set to hold its April meeting with a proposed amendment to its byelaws on the agenda.
The town council is to come together on Monday (12 April) with the meeting to be held virtually once again.
Among the agenda items to be considered by councillors is a proposal to amend local byelaws to specify dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the town council’s recreation grounds. The matter of dog control had been raised at a previous meeting.
Other agenda items include updates on proposals for a new town council website and the provision of new bins and benches around the Hatfield area. Members will also be updated over the proposed new play equipment York Road recreation ground.
Members will also be asked to consider quotes for repairs to Jubilee Park car park and quotes for new windows at Hatfield Cemetery workshop.
Town councillors will also consider a number of current planning applications and decide whether to put forward comments to the planning authority, Doncaster Council. Applications to be considered include the erection of breeding pens and other buildings associated with a falconry breeding business at a farm at High Levels Bank, industrial development at Bradholme Farm, additional plots at a travelling showpeople’s site at Mosscroft Lane, and a change of use from motor vehicle service garage with fuel sales and washing facilities to small supermarket with fuel sales and car washing facilities at the Broadway Garage in Dunscroft.
On financial matters, councillors will receive monthly finance reports and will be asked to approve accounts for payment.
