Thorne Moorends Town Council is set to hold an online extraordinary meeting this month.
The town council last met in full in March, prior to the introduction of lockdown measures brought in due to the coronavirus pandemic.
August’s virtual meeting is open to the public and will see councillors consider how and when they will meet over the remainder of the civic year.
Amongst other items on the seven point agenda, councillors will be asked to sign off end of year accounts and agree the annual governance statement. Members will also be asked to agree an approach to benches at Thorne Cemetery that the council says are ‘unauthorised’.
The online meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 19 August at 7pm and will include an opportunity for members of the public to raise matters relative to agenda items.
Further information on how to join the meeting is available on the Thorne Moorends Town Council website.
