The annual meeting of electors for Thorne and Moorends has been called by the town mayor.
This year’s meeting, called by the current mayor, Cllr Craig Ellis, is set to take place in Moorends.
With a three item agenda, Cllr Ellis will first welcome those attending the meeting and then those present will hear the annual town council report for the 2021/22 civic year. A copy of the accounts for the year will also be presented.
People will then have the opportunity to comment and ask questions.
The event is not a council meeting but is an opportunity for electors to hear about the work of the town council and ask questions relating to the Thorne and Moorends wards.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Winning Post on Marshland Road in Moorends on Tuesday 31 May, starting at 7.00pm.
