The Met Office has issued a further yellow warning of snow & ice for the Yorkshire & Humber region today (Tuesday 3rd February).
It says showers of sleet and snow will continue to affect the region through the rest of Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Icy surfaces will be an issue as today’s snow cover melts.
“As surfaces fall below freezing on Tuesday evening icy stretches are likely almost anywhere.” said a spokesperson.
“The public should be aware of the potential for disruption to travel.”
